Who we are
ProfitLink Pro Ltd. is a digital marketing and technology firm based in Henderson, Nevada. We build websites, local search presence, follow-up automation and reporting for local service businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect through profitlinkpro.io, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
This policy covers our website and our own marketing. If you become a client, the handling of information inside your accounts is governed by your service agreement as well as this policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and consultation forms: your name, business name, email address, phone number, and anything you write in the message field.
- Booking a call: name, email, phone and the time slot you pick, plus any notes you add.
- Correspondence: emails, texts and voicemails you send us.
Information collected automatically
- IP address, approximate region, browser and device type, operating system.
- Pages viewed, time on page, referring site, and the ad or link that brought you.
- Cookies and similar identifiers set by us and by the advertising and analytics providers listed below.
Information from public sources
Before a consultation, we look up information that is already public about your business: your Google Business Profile, your website, your public reviews, your listings in the main business directories, and, where relevant to your industry, public professional license records. We do this so the conversation is useful from the first minute. We do not access any private account of yours to do it, and we do not need your passwords.
How we use information
- To answer your inquiry and prepare for a consultation.
- To schedule, confirm and remind you about calls you book.
- To send you marketing email where you have agreed to receive it, and to stop sending it when you opt out.
- To deliver, support and improve services you have engaged us for.
- To measure which ads and pages are working, so we spend our own budget sensibly.
- To keep records required for tax, accounting, consent and dispute purposes.
- To protect the site against fraud, spam and abuse.
We do not use your information to make decisions that produce legal effects about you, and we do not sell it.
Calls, texts and email
We may call or text the number you give us to follow up on a request you made. If you check the text message consent box on our contact form, we will text you about that request, including appointment confirmations and reminders. We do not run a text message marketing program. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also tell us to stop in any other way you like, and we will.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The categories of service providers described below exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Calls are not routinely recorded. If we ever record a call, we will tell you at the start of it and you can decline.
Full detail on our email practices is on the email policy page, and how we handle calls and texts is on the compliance page.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We use a small number of cookies and pixels:
- Essential: needed for forms, security and basic site function.
- Analytics: aggregate measurement of how pages perform.
- Advertising: the Meta pixel, and equivalent tags from other ad platforms we run, which let us measure ad performance and show follow-up ads to people who visited a page and did not finish a form.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Advertising preferences can also be managed inside your Meta and Google account settings. Blocking cookies may break parts of the site, such as form submission.
We honor Global Privacy Control and similar browser opt-out signals where our systems receive them.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only for that purpose. They are contractually limited to processing it on our instructions. The main ones are:
- HighLevel (GoHighLevel): our CRM, forms, calendars, email and text message sending.
- Microsoft 365: business email and files.
- Meta Platforms: advertising delivery and measurement.
- Google: analytics, business profile and search tools.
- Our hosting and domain providers.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to enforce our terms, to protect the rights or safety of any person, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case we will say so here before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade contact lists. We have not done so in the past twelve months.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries that do not become clients: up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted or anonymized.
- Client records: for the life of the engagement and 7 years afterwards, for tax and contractual reasons.
- Email consent and opt-out records: at least 5 years after consent is withdrawn, because we may need to evidence that consent existed and that we honored the opt-out.
- Website analytics: typically 14 months in aggregate form.
Your choices and your rights
Whatever state you live in, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
- Give you a copy of it.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete it, unless we are required to keep it.
- Stop sending you marketing.
Email mike@profitlinkpro.io or call (805) 990-0845 and we will handle it. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify who you are before releasing information, usually by confirming details you already gave us.
California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, you have the rights listed above plus the right to know the categories of information collected, the sources, the business purpose and the categories of recipients, all of which are set out in this policy. You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; we do not sell or share it as those terms are defined. You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights, and we do not. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof.
Nevada residents
Nevada law lets residents tell a website operator not to sell their covered personal information. We do not sell it. You can still register that instruction with us at the email address above.
How we protect information
Data is held in access-controlled accounts with major providers, protected by multi-factor authentication and encrypted in transit. Access is limited to people who need it to do the work. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that a determined attack will never succeed. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of the page. Material changes will be announced on the site for at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated policy.
